Dear loyal clientele,
We are excited to announce that we are taking steps towards re-opening our facility to the public! We are now offering the option for up to two clients to come into exam rooms during their pet’s appointments. Curbside appointments are still an option if you prefer to remain in your vehicle for the duration of your visit. We will be allowing clients to enter the building to pick up food and prescriptions and for boarding reservations. We do ask that no more than 4 clients be waiting in our lobby at any time. We will have designated markers on the lobby floor for guidance on maintaining 6 feet social distancing.
Regardless of what type of visit you prefer, we ask that you call our office at 614-855-9643 when you have arrived for your appointment. Our front desk assistant will direct your call to the technician assigned to your appointment. We ask that you wait in your vehicle until the pet’s medical history is given to the technician over the phone. The technician will then ask if you would like to be present for the appointment or choose to wait in your vehicle. If you choose to be present in the exam room during the appointment the technician will meet you and your pet at the front door to escort you directly to the exam room.
If you choose to come inside the building, a mask must be worn covering your nose and mouth at all times. Masks are required for all who wish to enter the building regardless of your vaccination status.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience throughout this past year and your continued loyalty and cooperation.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in person again! We will keep you informed of any future changes.
Warmly,
Dr. Roehrenbeck and staff at the Animal Hospital of New Albany
